3 Day Horse Day Camp-Ages 6-15EnrichmentBoulder Pointe Equestrian 3 DAY LONG DAY CAMP (Ages 6-15)TIME: PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parentsto stay for the day. WHAT TO EXPECT:Experience a mini-week long camp! Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Lifein the barn will include activities such as; daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails withribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day.This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellowhorse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groupsof similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders.Please note that riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learningto how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the groundwith horses throughout the rest of the day. Common App Boot CampEnrichmentSeniors planning to apply to multiple colleges, especially private or selective schools, will likely use the Common App. This 2+ hour workshop offers hands-on support to help you set up your Common App account, tackle your personal statement, and navigate key sections of the application. By the end of the session, you’ll have made significant progress on your college application and feel confident in the decisions you’re making. Drivers Education Classes and Behind the Wheel TrainingEnrichmentThis is an advertisement only! Register directly with Wreck-Less Driving School This complete Drivers Education program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind the wheel training. Behind-the-wheel instruction will be scheduled individually and directly with Wreck-Less Driving Academy. Students must attend all 30 hours. Any missed classes must be made up in future sessions (at any Wreck-Less location). Students will receive a completion certificate once all 30 hours are complete. Firearms Safety Training ProgramEnrichmentFirearm Safety Training – Summer 2026 The Monticello Corp of Firearm Safety Instructors will be hosting a “Hunter Education and Firearm Safety hybrid class” in lieu of the in person Fall class that has been an area tradition since 1957. Where: Monticello Rod & Gun Club 1821 West River St Monticello, MN 55362 Date: Saturday, August 29, 2026 Time: 8:30 AM to approximately 2:30 PM There are three parts to the Hybrid Class. Part 1 - Students age 11 and older will complete a MN DNR approved on-line HEFAS course. Part 2 - Attend this in-person firearm safety hybrid class on August 29, 2026 The hybrid class includes a classroom review and firearms fundamentals session. Part 3 – Students complete the field day as part of the hybrid class. Preregistration is required. Class size is limited to 40 students. Students will be evaluated on their ability to safely handle a firearm, maintain muzzle control and to keep their finger off the trigger until they’ve identified their target, what lies beyond the target and are ready to shoot.Students demonstrating unsafe behaviors, attitudes or actions will be removed from class and asked to leave. Parents are encouraged to remain on site to observe.Parents dropping off their students are expected to return to the Rod & Gun Club if they are called to pick up their student or no later than 2:30pm. Horseback Riding Day Camp, Ages 6-15EnrichmentBoulder Pointe Equestrian Camps are on rain or shine! There is an outdoor and indoor arena. Proper attire includes a sneaker or boot (closed toe with a heel), long pants and layers depending on the weather. Bug spray, sunscreen, nut-free snacks and a water bottle are also recommended. Please bring a nut-free bagged lunch and plenty of fluids to drink. ASTM/SEI certified helmets are provided. Signed waivers are required before riding.
