This Non-Separating Outdoor class is designed for children ages 2-5 years and their parents to explore and interact with nature in a newly developed nature space at Eastview Education Center. ECFE’s backyard classroom will assist in fostering a love for nature through sensory experiences, exploration, and play. Parents will be able to share their parenting joys and concerns with staff during class, as well as receive parent resources. Please always come prepared to play outside in your outdoor gear, however we will be mindful of weather conditions and notify you as needed if we decide to play indoors. Please note: Depending on weather in November & December, class may be held in gym.

All kids have energy to burn. Let them get that energy out in our unstructured gym class. This class will give kids an opportunity to explore gym equipment and other large motor activities. Due to non-separating, parent discussions will be during class where you have a chance to share with other parents and staff to find support in the joys and challenges of everyday life.

Come join us for Pop-In and Play! We will have gym and playground time, sensory and art experiences. Families can make social connections with others in similar stages of life. Come at the beginning and stay until the end, or pop-in when it is convenient for your schedule. No snack provided during summer session; labeled water bottles encouraged. Young toddlers are full of energy and curiosity! Join us in activities designed for self-discovery, developing confidence, a variety of sensory experiences and a visit to the gym weekly. This is a non-separating class where the parent educator is there to facilitate conversations amongst the parents in the classroom. Sibling Care is provided.
