Boulder Pointe Equestrian 3 DAY LONG DAY CAMP (Ages 6-15)TIME: PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parentsto stay for the day. WHAT TO EXPECT:Experience a mini-week long camp! Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Lifein the barn will include activities such as; daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails withribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day.This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellowhorse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groupsof similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders.Please note that riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learningto how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the groundwith horses throughout the rest of the day. This class is for dogs 4 months and older. Here we work on basic obedience commands such as heel, sit, stay, come, stand and down. All training is done on leash. Collar recommendations will be made by the instructor, based on each dog’s individual temperament.
