Teen and Adult Defensive Driving & Car Control Course

Students will be using his/her own vehicle to undergo advanced driving training to handle adverse conditions and emergency driving situations. Using a progressive teaching method with a 1:1 student- to-instructor ratio, the student will learn how to control skids, emergency stops while switching lanes or even while cornering, emergency lane switching, vehicle dimensions and dynamics influencing its control. About 25% classroom, 75% driving. The earlier good driving habits are learned, the better. Requirements: Driver’s permit or license and a minimum of 10 hours of driving experience. Adult drivers (drivers 23 years old and older) are welcome. Should the class be filling up, preference for space availability will be given to young drivers. The fee for 23 y.o. and older is $150.00 (the sponsorship from the Rotary Club is for the youth, thus the reason for the higher fee).
