Recycling Racers - Age 5-10
Ready, set… create.
In this high-energy Sota Spark class, kids will turn everyday recyclable materials into their very own race cars, then put them to the test on the track. Through hands-on building, experimenting, and racing, students will think like engineers as they design, problem-solve, and improve their creations.
This isn’t just crafting, it’s innovation in motion.
Each racer will head home with their custom-built car and the excitement of seeing their ideas come to life.
Please note: latex balloons will be used to power race cars in this class.

I’m Kenzie, a kindergarten teacher by day and a competitive swim coach by night. My love for teaching began 18 years ago when I first started teaching swimming lessons. Since then, I’ve been drawn to one simple truth: people don’t just need information, they need wonder, curiosity, and the confidence to keep learning.
