Water Safety Instructor Blended Learning (Ages 16+)

Become certified to teach American Red Cross swim lessons. Blended Learning combines online learning with on-site skill sessions for skill practice and assessment. Online completion is required prior to the first day of the course. Attendance at all class sessions is mandatory.

This class fee includes books.

Age Prerequisite: Students must be 16 years of age by the last day of the class.

Skill Prerequisites: Demonstration of swimming skills equivalent to Red Cross Level 4 swim lesson requirements. Students must be able to perform 25 yards of all strokes: back crawl, breaststroke, front crawl, elementary backstroke, sidestroke, butterfly(15 yards) as well as treading water for 1 minute.
