Multiplication Mania and Hands-on Challenges - Gr. 2-6

Do you love math, a bit of friendly competition, and hands-on challenges? Come practice your multiplication fact fluency in a high energy, game focused class. Fact fluency is important because it forms the building blocks for higher-level math concepts. When a child masters their math facts, these concepts will be significantly easier and the student will be better equipped to solve them faster. You’ll leave this class ready to take on your family and friends in games that will help you prepare for next year’s math challenges, but more importantly, won’t leave you needing a nap.

We will finish each class with a hands-on STEM challenge to form connections and challenge our critical thinking skills. Competition, multiplication, and a bit of creative engineering….sounds like a great week to me!
