Coding, Robotics, and More! - Gr. 2-5

I'm Megan Bateman. My mission is to empower our youth to be innovative designers and critical thinkers so that they may make meaningful and joyful contributions to our communities. I have been teaching with NWTA since the beginning, and I am excited to be back again this year! NWTA provides me with the opportunity to apply and extend the knowledge I gained while earning my master's degree in Educational Technology. In total, I have four teaching licenses that I have been able to apply to various roles and workplaces over the past twenty-five years. Currently, I serve as the Data and Intervention Specialist at a STEM school and as a high school robotics coach. In my personal life, I enjoy tinkering with new technologies, reading, listening to music, and dancing. At home, I care for two fur babies (cats), and spend time with my husband, neighbors, and friends.
