Firearms Safety Training Program

The Monticello Rod and Gun Club will be offering a Firearms Safety Training Program for students and adults. Students and a parent or guardian should plan on attending registration and the introductory class on April 6th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Classes will be held on April 6th, 7th, 9th, 13th, 14th, and 16th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Monticello Middle School Arena Gym entrance. Students will meet at the Monticello Rod and Gun Club on Saturday, April 18th from 8:30-noon for range day. Boys, girls and adults are welcome. You must be at least 11 years old. DO NOT bring firearms to class. New DNR Info: You do not have to bring a fee or stamped envelope to class anymore as it is done electronically after you pass the course (you’ll receive the address in class). You must attend all scheduled dates! No make-up sessions will be available.
